At nearly 1,000 metres above sea level, Armidale in the New England High Country is a wine growers and producers paradise.

The high altitude creates a milder climate, with long, cool winters and warm summers, making Armidale the perfect climate to create some of the best Cool Climate Wines in Australia.

There are currently forty-two vineyards, nine wineries and more than twenty cellar doors open to visitors in the New England. So, whether you are a wine novice or connoisseur, the New England High Country has an abundance of wineries right on our doorstep.
